Dressing for all Seasons
In most areas around the world, many cultures are identified by how they dress for certain weather conditions during the year. The western countries are evident of the four seasons; Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. For our International Schools Award (I.S.A.) activity- ‘Dress me Weather’, learners showcased their well rounded knowledge of the seasons.
Since the world is a fast-paced global village, learners at Park British School are exposed to the various weather conditions around the world. Their knowledge is not limited to the ‘rainy’, ‘dry’ and ‘harmattan’ seasons well known in Nigeria. A fun-filled activity where learners in Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter outfits walked the runway gave them a semblance of the common dress code for the seasons in other parts of the world. They will definitely be appropriately dressed as they journey round the world.
Hence, for our learners, dressing right for every season is second to none.
